The European Commission (EC), Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI), and the European Investment Bank (EIB) are organising the ’11th annual EU conference on EAFRD financial instruments’, taking place  8-9 October 2025, from 9:30 until 17:40, in Milan, Italy.

This year’s programme brings together key stakeholders from across the agri-food value chain to discuss challenges, opportunities, and financing aspects in integrated agri-food value chain approaches.

EuroCommerce will be represented by Leena Whittaker, Director of Competitiveness, who will join a high-level panel alongside policymakers, business leaders, and association representatives. The discussion will focus on the role of finance in supporting sustainable and competitive agri-food value chains in Europe.

Registration is mandatory and participation is subject to approval.
