On 24 September 2025, EuroCommerce Director General, Christel Delberghe, will deliver a keynote at an event hosted by the German Bundesbank on “The digital euro: redefining the payments landscape for merchants in Europe.” Christel will share the merchant perspective on the digital euro, following a keynote by Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis, highlighting the opportunities and challenges that digital payments present for European retailers and wholesalers.
