This two-day event is entirely dedicated to EU public affairs, bringing together up to 1,500 professionals and policymakers, including around 50 speakers, 30 exhibitors, and several media partners.
Following a successful first edition in Paris, the Brussels edition aims to provide a high-level platform for discussion and exchange on the key political, economic, and social challenges shaping the European Union’s future.

This panel will explore how the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) can enable the Union to invest in competitiveness, innovation, and the green and digital transitions, while ensuring social fairness and resilience.

João Albuquerque
Director Advocacy and Political Affairs
Joao brings extensive experience of the European Parliament, as an MEP and previously MEP assistant and policy advisor to the S&D group. Prior to this, Joao held advisory roles in Portugal to the minister of interior and as head of office of a mayor (Lumiar, Lisbon). Joao graduated in political sciences and international relations and holds a master’s degree in history, defense and international relations from the University institute of Lisbon. Of Portuguese origin, Joao is also fluent in English, Spanish, French and Italian.
